we're down from multiples to having triplets

These sassy ladies are some of my favorite lovelies yet. The west coast bride, who is getting married right here in green, balmy Nashville, wanted each of her bride's maids to have a piece that was congruent with one another, but with a slight twist to make each their very own creation.

The rustic-chic wedding will have punches of marigold and gunmetal gray, juxtaposed with the natural, rustic beauty of a venue with tons and tons of history. And of course, the guinea feathers just had to make an appearance in these pieces--I mean, come on; it's me we're talking about.

"home is the place where it feels right to walk around without shoes"

Well then kick of your shoes and stay a while!

We, the Petaja family of Tec and Chelsea, are now proud home owners! We closed on the home yesterday, drank celebratory champagne on the front porch swing, and sat with friends and neighbors as a storm rolled in and the rain came down. Cheesy and trite? Maybe. But it's one of those memories that I thought would only ever be a dream. Now we have our dream home.

real ladies in action.

Thanks to Janie over at The Bride's Cafe for linking me on this beautiful engagement session she posted. Mireya, the bride, was the winner of TBC's Oh, My Deer giveaway last year. And man, oh man, does she look killer in Miss Erma!

Happy Wednesday, dearlings!

we're having multiples.

Lately, I've had several orders of multiple pieces; typically for bridesmaids.  These are a really sweet set for some lucky gals celebrating a Louisiana garden wedding in a couple of weeks.  I love the pairing of the greens with the peachy-pinks.  And come on--I can never get enough of those guinea feathers.  Don't they just finish these pieces off perfectly?
