greenery and grass meet hay bales and high class

These past few weeks have been insanely busy with home {mini} renovations, much welcomed company, the last few weeks of school, a week and a half of what ended up being a sinus infection... and this shoot! My husband, Tec, masterminded this editorial spread which will be featured in Nashville Lifestyles' Wedding Issue, coming out later this summer. To help him wrap his brain around all that goes into such a production, we asked our dear friends to pitch in and help and the end result is nothing short of fabulous. I was able to create the hair lovelies for the occasion, along with some of the greatest, most talented vendors around--Joy Thigpen Environments, Dolci Odille Letterpress and Design, Stylists from Maximum Artists Creative, etc. Plus, the Vera Wang and Oscar de la Renta gowns didn't really hurt the cause, either.

Here's a little teaser of the shoot, but head on over to Tec's blog to see an extended version of the day and a more complete list of vendors.

the ladies in action from the NotWedding

Sweet Callie, the brain behind the NotWedding phenomenon, sent these gorgeous photos over my way, taken a few weeks back at the NotWedding. Thanks to Callie and Our Labor of Love for making these lovelies look incredible.

{Miss Baez, worn without the headband looks so beautiful and sassy, huh? }

The Huz's blog has moved! I persuaded him to come over to the Blogspot since it's free and so incredibly user friendly. Right guys?

If you have him on your Reader elsewhere, be sure to change it to his new location:

Much love from Nashville; week two of rainy, wet weather.
Did I move to Seattle and not realize it?

PS--Do you guys like the LinkWithin that I've added to the end of each post? I'm wishy-washy about it, so I'm wondering what your thoughts are...
