mixed tape :: GIVEAWAY

OK, maybe it's not technically a mixed tape but that sounds so much better than mixed CD. Who else remembers sitting infront of their boombox with their finger poised on the record button just waiting for that perfect song? 1995: mine was Aeroplane by Red Hot Chili Peppers. That's a real edgy 11-year-old for ya. Right...

We've put together a few of our favorite Christmas or winter-themed songs: a few locals, a few classics, some sweet and some melancholy.

Leave a comment below saying what you're most thankful for this Christmas season. I'll number the entries--numer one being the first comment and so on--and then generate a number at random to find out who the winner is! The number will be chosen Monday morning, so get those comments in before the drawing if you want a chance to get your paws on a little melody goodness, from our heart to your home.

I'm thankful for my little brother coming to visit for ten days. Especially because my husband has to work on Christmas. I think its so cool I get to spend Christmas with my little brother all to my self. This is probably the only year we will ever be able to do this. So precious moments are to be had. :)

I'm so, so thankful that my parents sacrificed so much to allow me to be where I am today; they are the strongest, most humble, driven people I know, and I can't wait to see them again in a week :)

I am so thankful for my husband and family! It is so wonderful to know that I have found the ONE who is just such a perfect fit for me. I fall in love with him each and every day more and more! And my family, there are not enough words in the dictionary for me to explain how thankful I am for my wonderful, supportive, loving, encouraging family.

Great idea! I love this.

I'm very thankful for my mom and her strength. After losing her business this past year and having to sell her home, she was able to find another job in a neighboring town as well as a place to live. And in this town lives her best friend, so she is a MUCH happier person. (: She is an inspiration to me, and I'm thankful for her.

Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family!
