hydrangeas in may

My hydrangeas normally bloom in the summer months, but this year--with the combination of a warm winter and wet spring--they've exploded in May!  The same goes for our plum tree; it's almost two months ahead of schedule in producing its plums!

What about you?  Is your yard busier than normal this time of year?

love the color of your hydrangea. I felt like we just skipped right over spring and dove straight into summer.

Yes! I live in Tennessee as well, my first-time garden is going crazy! Cilantro is literally 2 feet tall and we've already eaten 3 tomatoes!

Mine have exploded early! I'm a little obsessed with Hydrangeas and am considering planting the ones I have in pots on the porch so the right half of my yard will be full!
